I am planning to go to Wallace Marine Park on Sunday. Take Mikki and launch a few rockets. Called the Salem airport manager and McMinnville ATC yesterday and made notification. Emailed John, but he doesn't think he can make it. I doubt that we will stay throughout the entire 6 hour window.
Plan to build the second Delta Saucer today and drag race them tomorrow. I got the Intel digital camera working so I should be able to get some pictures and upload them this week.

Called the county parks dept. yesterday. They don't want to allow flying rockets but don't have a specific rule against it. They agreed to reveiw the request at their Jun. 19th meeting.
Also called the county Fire Marshal. Left a message, again, and no response, again.

Posted a couple of maps to the web site. One shows Wallace Marine Park and the roads to it. The other shows the airports in and around Salem with 5 mile radius circles around each.

Quiet weekend. Didn't get out to Wallace Park, but then I didn't really expect to either. Did get the first primer coat on the Fat Boy. Plan to sand it and recoat tonight.
Added a page for the pictures from Memorial Day weekend that John sent. Still trying to get the hang of layers and other style options.
