Winter Blahs

It's been quiet for a while. Other than working on the design of the Devastator for the WARRP team and gathering parts for the same, I have been concentrating on my health.

The back is finally coming around, after some therapy and a needle in the spine.

Things are pretty much on hold until after the holidays. I start sabbatical this week and will have the time to start construction of the main body and perhaps the fin can. Mike is going to help with getting everything properly laminated with carbon fiber and fiberglass. John has the tubes for the body, Mike the engine mount.

I won a couple of auctions, an RRC2 altimeter, a couple of 15 ft. kevlar shock cords with sewn loops, that will help.

Mike is working on a large (read N) motor for the project.

We still need to settle on the material for the fins and get them started, without them the fin can is on hold.

It would be nice to have this done and ready to fly in time for LDRS or BALLS this year.
