The saga about our rocketry addiction

Holy cr*p, it flys!

Finally got back on the flying field this past weekend.

Mikki decided that it was time and we went to the Balston site. Mike Fisher, Brett Phillips and John Hornsby joined us.

Mikki flew her SPEV, Pencil, and her new Custom Razor. I put up the Lucky Seven for its first flight on an A10-3 and the LOC That Tube Rocket on a G80-10. It topped out at 3294 ft.

Mike flew his Galaxy on a home brew J300 green and field tested an I-100 moon burner that burned for almost 7 seconds.

John and Trenton put a couple, John's led to a long walk.

Brett put up his Hawk Mountain Raptor on a G64. He also had a long walk. The rocket spit the motor and we couldn't find it. The rocket went about 3000 ft.

We finally packed up around 4 in afternoon.
